This is the best program which will let you visit in few days the best of Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machupicchu and you will have "A spectacular 6 days trek" around the amazing Ausangate peak, on the remote highland savannah's of southern Peru. The heart of the eastern Andes, east of the ancient and magical city of Cusco, is dominated by Mount Ausangate (6372 mts - 20,900 ft), the main Apu or mountain spirit as well as the highest mountain in southern Peru. You will walk around 4 to 6 hours each day; horses will carry all our loads, letting us enjoy the hike just with a small daypack for the snacks and cameras.

DIA 1: LLEGANDO A CUSCO
A su llegada recepción, asistencia y traslado al hotel seleccionado; donde usted debe tomar un descanso corto para ajustar mejor a la altitud (11.000 ft asl)
Excursión combinada por la tarde; visitar el Koricancha (Templo del Sol), Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca-Pucara y Tambomachay. (SEGUNDO)
Nota: Usted está a cargo de llegar a Cusco en la mañana, en avión, tren o autobús. Nuestros servicios comienzan y terminan en Cusco.
DÍA 2: VALLE SAGRADO: AWANACANCHA, RUINAS PISACAS, MERCADO, OLLANTAYTAMBO
Visita una granja donde podrás ver y tomar buenas fotos de alpacas, llamas, vicuñas y guanacos, también veremos y aprenderemos (paso a paso) cómo los andinos todavía hacen tejidos muy bonitos usando técnicas tradicionales muy antiguas.
Continúe hacia PISAC ubicado justo a la entrada del Valle Sagrado, la increíble ciudad inca que constituye uno de los Parques Arqueológicos más importantes de la región. Visite los finos templos, palacios y las bien conservadas y extensas terrazas agrícolas; construido incluso hasta el borde de los precipicios que todavía guardan sus acueductos rectos verticales a veces; una vista imponente e inolvidable que también ofrece bellos paisajes.
Pisac Ruins
Visite PISAC el Pueblo Colonial, donde podrá ver el famoso "Mercado Indio" y el mercado de artesanías o "recuerdos", esta es su oportunidad para disfrutar de una mezcla de colores, tradiciones y personas, y la negociación de artesanía exótica.
Después del almuerzo en el pueblo de Urubamba, visita a las más antiguas viviendas habitadas continuamente en América del Sur, donde la gente todavía vive en las mismas casas y palacios que hace 500 años; la antigua ciudad inca de OLLANTAYTAMBO, con sus construcciones muy impresionantes construidas con enormes rocas y su antiguo patrimonio que nos dejará asombrados. Nota: El mercado de Pisac es todos los días, los martes, jueves y domingos es más grande pero más concurrido; no tan bueno para visitar las ruinas en Pisac y Ollantaytambo y para fotos

DÍA 3: OLLANTAYTAMBO - MACHUPICCHU
Traslado a la estación de trenes para tomar el tren hasta la ciudad de Aguas Calientes, autobús a Machupicchu (1/2 hora) y visita guiada privada (2 1/2 horas) de la "Ciudad Santa de los Incas" viaje a América del Sur. Tarde libre para explorar por su cuenta con menos gente. Alojamiento en Aguas Calientes. (SEGUNDO)

NOTA: Siempre que sea posible; para evitar las multitudes y en la temporada alta programamos este tour por la tarde.
DAY 4: MACHUPICCHU – HUAYNAPICCHU - CUSCO
On your own, early visit of Machupicchu; to spot the amazing sun rise and take the optional short hikes to the Sun gate, Montana Machupichu, Huaynapicchu Peak (if available), the temple of the Moon, and the Inca Bridge. Afternoon return to Ollantaytambo by train (1 1/2 hours) and transfer by bus to the hotel (1 1/2 hours). (B)

NOTE: If you are interested in climbing to Huaynapicchu or Montana Machupicchu the entrance fees are Included but you have to let us know in advance, we must buy tickets ASAP, there is a short limit per day.

DAY 5: CUSCO – TINKI – UPIS
Leaving by vehicle southwards we arrive at Huambutio and start our winding ascent to the village of Huancarane. From here, the road winds its way uphill until we reach small villages of shepherds and weavers in the highland savannah. After 2 hours the Vilcanota Range finally looms in the distance, with Ausangate and Colqe Cruz mountains dominating the landscape. Continue to Tinki where we will meet the horsemen (arrieros) and start the trek at 3,800m (12,464 ft). The trail crosses the puna or highland, approaching the base of the Ausangate Massif and provides amazing views of the rolling landscape. Camp at Upis, right below the snow capped mountains around at 4,400m (14,432 ft).(B,L,D)
DAY 6: UPIS – PUCACOCHA
We slowly ascend up Upispampa, getting closer to the north face of Ausangate. An ascent up the Inkapampa valley brings us to the Arapa Pass at 4,750m (15,580 ft), from where we have a wonderful view of the Ausangate.We border and traverse the arid rolling landscape to then slowly descend to the small lakes past the valley of Samacancha to get the Lake Pucacocha below the Ausangate glaciers; a beautiful campsite at 4,575m (15,006 ft). DAY 7: PUCACOCHA - PALOMANI - CHILLCA
A slow ascent will bring us to Alcatani pass at 4,850m (15,908 ft) to then begin our descent to Ausangatecocha; a beautiful blue lake formed by the melt-off of the glacier with a view of the southern face and its huge glacial formation. From Ausangatecocha we start a steep ascent to the Palomani pass at 5,050 (16,564). As we cross into the valley of Machuraqay beautiful views of Mts. Caracol and Mariposa with its cone peak. Descend to Chillcaphinaya at 4,400m (14,520 ft) a valley filled with grazing Alpacas. Overnight at Chillca. (B,L,D)
DAY 8: CHILLCA – COMERCOCHA
We begin our ascent to the pass of Jampa, 5,000m (16,400ft). Mt. Callangate with its jagged spires covered in ice dominates our trek as we edge our way over the pass with its retreating glacier and ice-fields. The amazing landscape offers a view of the lake of Comercocha and Harmacocha. We enter the watershed of Mt. Ninaparayoc with its lake below, walk down along this valley with Mt. Ausangate behind us (we have now completed almost a full circle around the mountain).We set up camp on the shores of lake Comercocha at 4,600m (15,088ft). (B,L,D)

DAY 9: COMERCOCHA – PAJCHANTA
The trail descends towards the village of Pajchanta, where we set up the last camp at 4,245m (13,924 ft). Pajchanta hosts thermal baths for the enthusiasts. (B,L,D)
Palomani pass
DAY 10: PAJCHANTA - TINKI – CUSCO
Leaving our community camp-site with a chance to buy local textiles, we head down to Tinki crossing the vast hills and fields that are occupied by local farmers until reaching Tinki at midday. After lunch we get on our vehicle returning to Cusco the way we came. (B,L)

DAY 11: CUSCO – LIMA
Transfer to the airport for departure flight. (B)

Does not include: International & national airfares (Lima - Cusco - Lima), extra horse to carry more luggage or ride**, sleeping bags (Save room and Rent from us for just US$50 / 8 days trek), tips: guide, cooks, porters, etc, additional nights during the trip due to flight cancellations, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages or bottled water, non described meals & snacks, insurance of any kind, laundry, phone calls, radio calls or messages & items of personal nature.

**Note: If you want to bring more luggage or ride a horse, you can hire an extra horse for US$200, for all the trek and the horse will carry a maximum of 20 kg – 40 pounds; including your sleeping bag. (Usually 1 horse between 2 persons is enough). However even with a personal horse, you will still need to bring and carry a day pack with essential items.

BOOKING & DEPOSIT FOR THE TRIP:
- To reconfirm, book and to buy all the necessary tickets, we will need you to send a deposit of 70% of the trip's price ASAP.
- You can make the deposit in a saving account (with 3% bank’s fees)
- If you want to use a credit card there will be 8% fees over the deposit (bank commissions & fees, not ours)
- The remaining balance has to be paid 45 days before your trip or in US$$, cash in Cusco.
- US$300 per person for buying the Trek & Machupicchu tickets is non refundable

The deposit will be used to buy your tickets. Once we bought your permits & tickets; they are NOT transferable to any other person OR to any different date due to the Inca Trail/Government regulations.
