DETAILED PROGRAM
1. First Stage (approx. 1 hour):
Go with a specialist to the nearby San Pedro typical food market to buy the ingredients you will need for cooking.
2. Second Stage (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes): Take the ingredients you bought at the market back to the kitchen and cook them into an authentic Peruvian meal.
3. Third Stage (On your own time):
Enjoy the product of your work in a restaurant-like setting!
Choose one menu option below from the REGULAR or SPECIAL and Vegetarian options (during the class the group prepares same menu option)
Vegetarian Options: It is possible to turn into vegetarian all menu options, more recommended Menu options # 3 or Menu option# 4

The tradicional andean soup with mix vegetable, and dices of beef

Ají de Gallina
Chicken deep in yellow chili pepper sauce made with chili, onion, peanuts, crackers, milk, cheese. Served with local potato rice, garnished with hard boil egg and black olives.

Baked Rocoto (type of chili pepper) stuffed with finely minced beef, onion, carrots, peas, peanuts, hard boil egg and Andean cheese, plus a side of potatoes

Arroz con Leche
A very popular meal in the world´s gastronomy; in Peru is one of the most popular dessert, Peruvian style rice pudding is made with rice, cinnamon, clove, milk, condensed milk. vanilla, raisins and sugar
