OVERVIEW:

The Ballestas islands were created with the aim of protecting large breeding populations of Humboldt penguin, South American fur seal and sea lion as well as 63 migrant bird species to whom this area is an important stopover. Also visit a vineyard in Ica and the beautiful Huacachina Oasis for a Buggy ride and sand boarding.

ITINERARY & HIGHLIGHTS:

LIMA - BALLESTAS ISLANDS - ICA - RETURN TO LIMA


3 am: Early transfer to the bus station to take the bus to Paracas or Pisco

8 am: Reception and transfer to the Paracas Bay, where our two-hour motorboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands will begin. These beautiful islands, located in front of the Paracas National Reserve, are the biggest natural sanctuary along our shores and are home to thousands of migratory birds, which share their habitat with huge groups of sea lions and fur seals. During the excursion, you will find a mysterious design over the hill, called “El Candelabro” (The Chandelier).

10 am: Transportation to Ica, visit a vineyard to learn about the local wine and Pisco. Finally visit the Huacachina Oasis for dune buggy ride and sandboarding.

17:00 pm: Transfer to the bus station to take the bus to Lima.
Upon arrival, reception at the station and transfer to your hotel (arrival: 22:00 pm)
