BEST COOKING CLASSES: TOUR with a GROUP

We are part & work with the Mountain Fund

- We provide a unique culinary experience in a very well equipped and nice kitchen where our guests can prepare their own creations with the freshest and organic regional ingredients; you will experience a new way of learning, sharing and enjoying Peruvian cuisine.

- We offer lunch and dinner Peruvian cooking classes: You can choose 2 times


1.- Lunch: 10:30 to 13:30


2.- Dinner: 15:30. to 18:30


- We offer 5 Different REGULAR Menu options and 2 SPECIAL Menu options: Ceviche and Guinea Pig (cuy)!!

DETAILED PROGRAM

1. First Stage (approx. 1 hour): 

Go with a specialist to the nearby San Pedro typical food market to buy the ingredients you will need for cooking.


2. Second Stage (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes): Take the ingredients you bought at the market back to the kitchen and cook them into an authentic Peruvian meal. 


3. Third Stage (On your own time):

Enjoy the product of your work in a restaurant-like setting!

Vegetarian Options: It is possible to turn into vegetarian all menu options, more recommended Menu options # 3 or Menu option# 4

- The class is in English or Spanish.

- All participants make same menu in a lesson, class.

Yuquitas a la huancaina

Deep fried yunca (manioc) with huancaina sauce made with yellow chili pepper, onion, milk, cheese, craker and peanuts

- Main Course: Group preparation

Ceviche

Fish from lake, marinated in lime juice, chili, celery, cilantro / curriander, ginger, onion and evaporated milk served cold with fesh corn and sweet potato plus Peruvian tiger´s milk.

- Dessert: Group preparation

Arroz con Leche

A very popular meal in the world´s gastronomy; in Peru is one of the most popular dessert, Peruvian style rice pudding is made with rice, cinnamon, clove, milk, condensed milk. vanilla, raisins and sugar

2.- GUINEA PIG MENU OPTION


- Beverage: Pisco Sour or Chicha Morada (Purple corn juice)

- Starter: Group preparation

Papa a la Huancaina

The traditional and national sauce, made with yellow chili, onion, cracker, cheese, milk, peanuts. Served with andean potato, garnished with black olives and hard boil egg.


- Main Course: Own Making

Cuy al horno

Roasted guinea pig stuffed with Huacatay (fine andean herb) . Served with potatoes.


- Dessert: You can choose any from above

. We just need a minimum of 2 guests per booking

. If you are a SOLO traveler you could still take the tour but ONLY if we already have other clients for your date

Chef guidance, visit the local market, and everything you need for cooking the selected meals.


Beverage options: the Peruvian national cocktail, Pisco sour, or the non-alcoholic national drink, chicha morada.


Does not include: Pick up from your hotel, Services & Sales Taxes, tips, alcoholic, non described meals & snacks, insurance of any kind

BOOKING & PAYMENT FOR THE TRIP:


- To reconfirm and book we will need you to send a deposit of 20% of the trip's price ASAP.

- The remaining balance has to be paid 30 days before your trip.
