We will pick you up at 5:00 AM from your hotel in Cusco. Our transportation will take you south of Cusco to the town of Cusipata, this car ride takes about 2 hours, here you will have time to use the bathrooms and have more breakfast. After breakfast we will continue our car ride for about 1 1/2 hours; until the beginning of the “ Palcoyo 3 Rainbow Mountains" Hike. On the way we will enjoy views of amazing landscapes, herds of alpacas and llamas, lots of reddish mountains and traditional local houses.

You will start hiking at about: 4800 mts / 15840 feet; the hike to the highest view point (4955 mts / 16352 feet) where there is a stone forest, takes about 1 hour. From this pass you will have amazing views of the colorful mountains, snow capped peaks and tall stone formations. After about 30 minutes (depending on the time and weather conditions) we will start going down on a narrow and steep trail for about 20 more minutes, we will get closer to the other 2 Rainbow Mountains. Later we will hike back downhill to the beginning of the hike; this will take about 30 minutes. Finally we will take our transportation back to to Cusco and drop you at your hotel at about 4 - 5 pm

- You can take alternative shorter, easier hikes if you are having problems with the altitude; there are easier routes you can explore.

- The times may vary according to the conditions of the road, trail and guide's recommendations
