DETAILED ITINERARY: Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch


We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 4 - 4:15 am. Later we have a car ride for about 2 hours to Mollepata town; located near the valley of the Apurimac River. After breakfast we continue for 1 hour until the small town of Soraypampa, this is where we will start the hike to the amazing Humantay lake. The trail is steep with amazing views of the Humantay and Salkantay Peaks, one of Peru’s most sacred and beautiful mountains (20,600 ft - 6,280 m). After about 2 hours hiking uphill we will arrive and see the impressive Humantay Lake, located at 13,860 ft (4,200 m). After spending 1 hour in the area with a beautiful turquoise cold lake, surrounded by steep peaks and an impressive glacier; we hike back down to Soraypampa and take the car to Mollepata for lunch. Finally we will drive back to Cusco and drop you at your hotel.
