Start your day with a transfer to the bus station for a scenic 3–4 hour ride to Potosí City. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel to settle in.

• Plaza 10 de Noviembre: The vibrant heart of Potosí, surrounded by historic architecture.
• San Lorenzo Church: A masterpiece of Andean Baroque architecture with intricately carved stone facades.
• The National Mint of Bolivia (Casa de la Moneda): Constructed between 1753 and 1773, this massive building served multiple purposes: a mint where Indigenous workers and slaves crafted silver coins, a fortress, a prison, and a military base. Day 5: Potosí to Uyuni – Silver Mines and Scenic Journey

Morning: Explore the Silver Mines of Cerro Rico

Begin your day with a guided tour of the legendary Cerro Rico Silver Mines, where you’ll gain deep insight into the lives of miners and the history of one of the most famous silver mining regions in the world.

What to Expect:

Safety First: Start with a safety briefing and an introduction to the mining equipment.

Visit the Local Mining Market: Explore the bustling mining market, where tools and supplies are sold. You can also purchase small gifts, such as coca leaves, to share with the miners (optional).

Enter the Mines: Equipped with a safety jacket, pants, rubber boots, helmet, and electric lamp, you’ll venture into the tunnels of Cerro Rico alongside your expert guide.

Inside the Mines:

• Learn about the mining process and the challenging daily routines of the miners.
• Discover statues representing "Tío," the deity miners pray to for protection and good fortune.

Afternoon: Transfer to Uyuni:

Head to the bus station for a 3–4 hour scenic bus ride to the charming city of Uyuni, the gateway to Bolivia’s most iconic natural wonder—the Uyuni Salt Flats. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel for a restful night.

Midday: Enter the Salt Flats

Visit the Ojos del Salar, natural openings in the salt crust where underground rivers emerge, creating fascinating patterns in the salt.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure into the Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt flat spanning over 12,000 square kilometers. Drive across the dazzling white expanse to reach Incahuasi Island (Isla Pescado). Take a short hike to marvel at the towering cacti and panoramic views of the salt flat’s vastness. During the rainy season (January–March), the itinerary adjusts to accommodate the stunning mirror effect created by water on the flats.

Evening: Arrival in San Juan

Day 9: Uyuni - La Paz - Walking City Tour & Cable Car

Transportation to the airport to take the flight to La Paz. Upon your arrival transfer to the hotel.

Plaza Murillo: The city’s historic square, surrounded by the Government Palace, Legislative Palace, and Metropolitan Cathedral. Stroll through Calle de las Brujas (Witches’ Market), where you’ll find unique Andean amulets, objects, and plants used for rituals and spiritual purposes.

- Cable Car Adventure:

Ride the city’s famous cable car system, the world’s highest, offering breathtaking panoramic views of La Paz nestled in a valley surrounded by the Andes.
Finally we will visit the southern part of the city to visit the Moon Valley, impressive formations, composed mainly of clay and were created by the persistent erosion of mountains by the area’s strong winds and rains.
