Q’eswachaka Bridge, the only remaining suspension bridge of its kind, it has remained the same since Incan times. The 500-year-old tradition of its construction is maintained by members of four Quechua communities: Huinchiri, Chaupibanda, Choccayhua, and Ccollana Quehue. They rebuild the bridge each year!
ITINERARY:
5:00 am: We will pick you up at your hotel to drive south. After 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will stop at Cusipata Town where we will have a delicious Breakfast, later we will continue for 1 hour and a half more until Quehue area, province of Canas
After a 3 hours car ride, we will start a walk to see the last Quechua Bridge (Qeswachaka) for 15 minutes. The Qeswachaka bridge is built with Qoya fiber, material that is obtained from an autochthonous plant. The bridge is renewed by a nice ritual performed by local communities. Here we will have the guide who will talk about the history, traditions, process to build the bridge, and more about the Inca and local culture. After exploring more of the area on your own we will return to the town of Cusipata to have lunch. On the way we will make stops to see 4 beautiful lagoons. After lunch we will drive back to Cusco; arriving at 5 - 6:00 pm approx.

• Change booking dates: You’re not locked in. Things can change, and we will allow you to choose a different booking date.
• Choose a different Trip/Tour: In case your new dates and your previous trip no longer works out, we will let you choose a different trip.
• Receive credit if plans change: If you can’t pick your new dates and tour at the time of cancellation, we will offer you a credit towards a future trip.
- To reconfirm and book we will need you to send a deposit of 20% of the trip's price ASAP.
- The remaining balance has to be paid 15 days before your tour.
